About Ronald McDonald House India
For over 50 years, Ronald McDonald House has ensured families everywhere have access to the care and resources they need – especially when they have a sick child. We believe when families are together, they cope better and that no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone. Spanning across 60 countries and regions worldwide, Ronald McDonald House’s extensive network of chapters is making a profound impact on families’ lives on a global scale.
Ronald McDonald House India is dedicated to providing care centres, care rooms, and care houses for families in need, both within and outside of hospitals and medical centres, completely free of charge.
The Ronald McDonald House in Mahim, Mumbai offers families who travel for care a safe and supportive place to stay for extended periods, with spaces to sleep, cook, rest, and regain strength. Alongside the House, the Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children in Mumbai and Government Cancer Hospital in Aurangabad give families within the hospital a place to step away from the clinical environment, access emotional support, and provide children with clean and hygienic play areas.
Together, we aim to create a network of comfort and support that helps families stay close through their most challenging moments.
