Smita Jatia

Chairwoman, Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation India (RMHC India),

With over two decades of experience in leadership and strategic roles, Smita brings her rich expertise in business acumen, customer understanding, and operational excellence to RMHC India. Her vision and commitment ensure that RMHC India continues to offer essential services free of charge to families both within and beyond hospital premises. 

Smita’s role at RMHC India synergizes with her extensive experience from her tenure at Westlife Foodworld Ltd, where she has driven significant growth and innovation as Vice Chairperson. Her leadership capabilities are lauded globally, as evidenced by her inclusion in Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen list and Business Today’s Most Powerful Women list. A commerce graduate from Sydenham College, Mumbai, Smita has also completed an executive management program from Harvard Business School and specialized training at the Hamburger University, USA. 

Dedicated and visionary, Smita Jatia continues to lead RMHC India with a passion for making a difference in the lives of families in need, striving towards a world where all children have access to medical care and their families are actively supported during challenging times.

Nishit Pandey 

Director

Mr. Nishit Pandey serves as a Director on the Board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation India. 

With over 37 years of experience in Development & Corporate Affairs, he spent more than 26 years at Westlife Foodworld, where he currently serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and Alliances 

His strategic vision & ability to forge key alliances have been instrumental in enhancing the company’s growth and influence in the market. 

Shalini Jatia

Director

Ms. Shalini Jatia is a social activist and philanthropist with over 15 years of experience in medical aid and paediatric oncology. She started her career at Breach Candy Hospital as a medical social worker. Currently she is secretary of ImPaCCT Foundation, the paediatric Foundation of Tata Memorial Hospital. She has been instrumental in bringing all stakeholders and 11 NGOs, together on the same platform to provide holistic care to children suffering from cancer. In addition, she also is an active volunteer and member for various organizations such as ‘The Foundation, Nargis Dutt Memorial Trust, Indian Cancer Society and St. Jude India Child-care Centres‘. She has immensely contributed by successfully organizing several social events for fund raising and collaborating to help champion the cause of the underprivileged. She was given the award, “Contributions to Society” by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s political organization, ‘Friends of NaMo‘ for her unwavering commitment to society.

Dr. Kamalaksha Jagannath Kamat is a Director – Medical, Health & Welfare Services with over 45 years of experience in medical. He started his career at Oil & Natural Gas Commission, Mumbai (Offshore Project) as a Medical Officer. Currently He is Advisor -Larsen & Toubro & Director – Nirali A M Naik Charitable Healthcare Facility.
